For the best results, wear your aligners 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out just for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. Every 1-2 weeks you will replace your old aligners for a new set of aligners. Every set of aligners is individually packaged and numbered, this way there will be no confusion about the order of the aligners and which one is for the upper or lower jaw. We write down the swap dates on each bag so no mistakes can be made.

The aligners come with a number of bags of Cleaning Crystals, which you can use for an extra thorough cleaning. Dissolve the bag of crystals in 100 ml of lukewarm water, stir or shake until the crystals have dissolved. Place the aligners in the cleaning solution for 15 minutes, rinse the aligners thoroughly with water before wearing them again.

It is very important to take your aligners and the next set(s) with you on a trip. If you interrupt your treatment your teeth will shift back to their old position so the result you have achieved will get lost. You always get several sets of aligners to take home, so you can go on a trip with peace of mind. If you go by plane, be sure you put all your sets of aligners in your handluggage to make sure they won’t get lost!

Yes, you can leave your aligners out if, for example, you have an important meeting, job intervieuw or wedding. It’s another advantage of straightening your teeth with aligners!
